Day 1: Cooking School Review

 MasterChef Cooking Class: Day 1

By Rothida and Sonyta

Today we cooked at Eureka Cooking School. We cooked traditional Khmer dishes including, mango salad, fish/chicken amok, and jek ktis dessert. It was surprisingly very simple and the cooks were extremely friendly and helpful. The place was organized in a neat manner, allowing all students to evenly participate. The mango salad tasted extremely fresh and our mouths were bursting with flavour. The fish and chicken amok was fluffy as we combined it with a thoroughly mixed egg. The bananas mixed in the coconut cream created an astonishing flavour that blew our minds. The second floor was spacious and allowed us students to enjoy our creations. In conclusion, the recipes were very tasty and easy to follow, therefore, inspiring and encouraging us to continue honing our cooking skills.
